Investigators respond to anti-Semitic vandalism of local Jewish school

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A playground at the Margolin Hebrew Academy on South White Station Road was vandalized with anti-Semitic messages.

The vandals scrawled swastikas and statements referring to Hitler on the property.

The FBI was pulled into the case to determine if a civil rights violation has occurred, but it is not commenting on the incident.

The school confirmed there is an "active investigation" and that its priority is to make sure its students stay safe.
