Police on the hunt for LA Fitness shooting suspects

MEMPHIS, Tenn. --  Memphis Police are actively searching for the two men who walked into a local fitness club and opened fire.

According to police, the shooting happened at the LA Fitness located in the 7600 block of Polo Grounds.

Two males, possibly juveniles, walked into the gym armed with guns and shot 18-year-old Vicdarrius Pollard, a recent graduate of Kirby High School.

Witnesses on the scene told WREG Pollard and other teens got into an argument while playing basketball.

Someone went outside to get a gun and opened fire.

Police confirmed to WREG the male was shot several times and died soon afterwards.

The two people responsible for his death took off on foot according to witnesses.

The hunt is now on for the two men responsible.
