City Council votes to remove Nathan Bedford Forrest’s remains

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — The Memphis City Council has voted unanimously to approve a resolution to remove the remains of Nathan Bedford Forrest.

However, WREG’s Shay Arthur reported the measure has to be passed by Chancery Court in order to happen.
