Arrest made in murder of MUS graduate

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — An arrest has been made in the murder of an MUS student just days after his graduation.

Andrae Tewari, 19, is charged with second degree murder.

Frank Gaines Whitington, 18, was shot and killed in the parking lot of the Champion Hills Apartments.

Police say Tewari admitted to the murder.

The circumstances surrounding the murder have not been released.
