MEMPHIS, Tenn– The University of Memphis Athletics Department is offering a limited number of free tickets to Thursday’s men’s basketball game versus UConn.

The tickets were provided by an anonymous donor and can be claimed on a first-come, first-serve basis at FedExForum prior to tip-off.

The Tigers host the defending national champion in a nationally televised match-up at 8 p.m.

Fans can claim free tickets while supplies last beginning at 7 p.m. Thursday at FedExForum box office.

“With the winter weather in the area this week, we know it might be difficult for some of our fans who live in more rural areas to travel downtown Thursday night,” said Memphis Director of Athletics Tom Bowen. “We are very appreciative of this donation and hope Tiger fans who can safely travel will take advantage of this opportunity to show up and support the program.”

Despite the winter weather conditions, the game will be played as scheduled.
