MLGW alleged Copper thieves arrested

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Three men are behind bars after being busted for allegedly stealing copper from an MLGW business.

Dwight Nelson, Sean Lambert, and Bruce Carter are all charged with theft of property.

Police received a tip that the three men were in the 2200 block of Griggs, cutting up copper that they had stolen from an MLGW location.

Police saw numerous copper line sections and scrapes on the property.

MLGW representatives made the scene and confirmed they were from one of their buildings.

The copper is worth over $18,000 dollars.

All three men are due in court Monday.
