Two injured in overnight shootings in Memphis

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Police are searching for the gunmen responsible for two separate shootings overnight.

The first shooting happened just before 1 a.m. Tuesday at a laundromat in the Whitehaven area.

Police say one person was shot at Phil’s Coin-Op Laundry and Cleaners on Millbranch Road north of Holmes Road.

The second shooting happened around 5 a.m. Tuesday in the Cherokee neighborhood.

Police say one person was shot outside a house in the 1500 block of South Highland Street near Sharpe Ave.

Both shooting victims were taken to the Regional Medical Center.

So far, police haven’t released a description of either suspect.

    When do the riots, protests, and looting start? Oh I forgot there are no whites or cops involved and that makes the shootings and murders ok. Dang and I already had my soda and popcorn ready to watch the show.
