Double shooting leaves one man dead

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Police are searching for suspects after a deadly double shooting in North Memphis.

Police say two people were shot around 11:15 p.m. Wednesday in the 2400 block of Shasta Ave. near Chelsea and Hollywood.

Police say one of the victims was pronounced dead at the scene. The other victim was taken to the Regional Medical Center.

So far, police haven’t identified any suspects.

They’re asking anyone with information to call Crime Stoppers at (901) 528-CASH.

    So the city puts lower income people in shotgun houses packed in the north like sardines in a can and what else do you expect to happen? They can take the project out the hood, but not the project out the people (if you’ve lived around there u know what I mean). My fiance is from the North and a wonderful family man. Just because his family didn’t have the $$ to raise him in G’Town doesn’t make him any less valuable as a human being. There are some really cool people in this city, you just gotta dodge the idiots to get to them. Stupidity knows no zip code or city limit.
