Four injured in overnight crash on I-240

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Four people are in the hospital recovering after an overnight crash on Interstate 240.

Police say two vehicles were involved in the crash, which happened around 1:30 a.m. Friday in the westbound lanes of I-240 east of the Mt. Moriah exit.

Dispatchers at the Memphis Fire Department say four people were taken to the Regional Medical Center by ambulance, but they wouldn’t release any details about their injuries.

There’s no word yet on what caused the accident.
