JACKSON, Miss. — Chris McDaniel will announce today he is filing a challenge with the Mississippi Republican Party Executive Committee.

“They asked us to put up or shut up. Here we are. Here we are with the evidence,” McDaniel said at an afternoon news conference.

McDaniel is challenging the run-off election results from June 24.

Certified results show incumbent U.S. Senator Thad Cochran with a 7,667 vote margin of victory largely attributed to Democrat voters.

Why can’t this sore loser bow out gracefully? I thought the tea party guys were all about small government, here is this guy wasting all kinds of government resources contesting the results. He’s the Al Gore of the tea party.

Good for McDaniel, cochran is a lapdog rino that will do whatever he can to keep his job even if it means kissing the liberal socialists a z z.
