LaRussa leads Hall of Fame Class of 2014

COOPERSTOWN, NY– 2014 may go down as one of the best, if not, THE best Hall of Fame classes in baseball history with former Cardinals manager Tony LaRussa , one of 6 of baseball’s best enshrined into Cooperstown.

LaRussa won three World Series titles, two in St. Louis, during his 33-year managerial career with the White Sox, A’s and Cardinals.  He joins Sparky Anderson as the only managers ever to win a World Series in each league with his 2,728 wins..the 3rd most all-time.

Also in the Class of 2014, fellow managers Joe Torre and Bobby Cox along with 300-game winners Tom Glavine and Greg Maddux and the Big Hurt Frank Thomas.
