GERMANTOWN, Tenn. — Shelby County School leaders have come to an agreement with the newly formed Germantown School District.

The agreement means SCS gets to use Germantown athletic fields and the names of three Germantown schools will not change.

Germantown Elementary, Middle and High schools will keep their names.

Originally, Germantown said it would require the names of those schools, which will continue to be SCS controlled, be changed to avoid confusion with their district.
