Australia’s “Sweethearts” come to America

They've played the biggest festivals in Europe, now the Sweethearts from Australia are on their first tour of the U.S. thanks to some help from a Memphis musician! The Bar-Kay's Larry Dodson saw the soul fusion band performing at the Porretta Soul Festival in Italy and offered to work with them on an American promotional tour. The tour will be part of a 13 episode TV series. Hailing from the small town of Geelong, Australia, Sweethearts is a high school group that writes their own music, records their own albums and performs in professional settings around the world.
