JACKSON, Miss. -- Thanks to black Democrats, Republican Sen. Thad Cochran survived the runoff election from tea party challenger Chris McDaniel.

The outcome baffled the experts, and left tea party supporters frustrated.

    Time for a scorched earth policy. If the tea party candidate is defeated by the republican party dirty tricks in the primaries then they need to ensure that the opposition party wins the seat on election day. Then can win the battle but it will cost them the war.
