Man injured in overnight shooting

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A Memphis man is recovering at the Regional Medical Center after an overnight shooting.

Police say the man was shot inside a vehicle just before 1 a.m. Monday in the 1600 block of Patterson St. near Ellsworth St.

Neighbors told WREG that they heard three gunshots in the area, then saw a vehicle with its back window shot out.

Police are still working to identify suspects in this case.

    Black on Black crime, wash, rinse, dry, repeat. Another black man was shot and taken to Methodist yesterday….It did not make the news. Why would anyone ..black or white choose to live in Memphis?
