Sedrick Clayton receives the death penalty

MEMPHIS, Tenn. – A Shelby County jury issued the death penalty to a man for murdering his girlfriend and her parents in 2012.

Sedrick Clayton was found guilty early Saturday afternoon on three counts of first-degree murder.

Clayton was also convicted of one count of attempted murder, use and possession of firearm during a dangerous offense and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.

      Even if it was black on white the media wouldn’t report it as a hate crime. Only blacks can be victims of a hate crime just ask Henri Brooks.
