MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Police are searching for suspects in an overnight shooting in Frayser that critically injured a teenager.

Around 11 p.m. Tuesday, police say a 17-year-old boy was shot outside the Infiniti Sports Bar and Grill at Watkins and Overton Crossing.

He was taken to the Regional Medical Center in critical condition.

This is the second time police have investigated a shooting at Infiniti in the last year.

Back in December, a 25-year-old man was shot and killed in the club’s parking lot while celebrating his birthday.  Another man was wounded.

Police are asking anyone with information to call Crime Stoppers at (901) 528-CASH.

This is sad to hear every morning but besides the shooting can anyone tell me why a
    17 year old
    outside at 11pm
    around a bar
is not even a concern at all? Maybe this is part of the problem with all these minors roaming around like this.

Okay, so maybe, just maybe, there’s the chance the kid snuck out of the house to go hang out around a bar. But, I doubt it. Mom and Dad (if there even is a dad) probably just didn’t give a ****. Guess they were already prepared to pay for the boy’s hospital bills and possible funeral. This headline should read “Bad Parenting in Frayser Leads to Tragedy”.

sheech low pro………how do you expect a single parent to keep up with all 9 kids and spend a little quality time with her new man?

Another day, another black man gunned down on the streets of Frayser. Who in their right mind would choose to live there with their children.

If the MAN that was shot, Why wasn’t you didn’t say mention his name? (answer) You knew he was a juvenile.
I wish Channel 3 had real reporters, or proof readers.

Well if the 17 year old had shot someone you know he would be charged as an adult not a juvenile. Does that make him a man? But if he hooked up with his teacher, they would charge her with statutory. That makes him a juvenile. It’s all so backwards. Double standards everywhere, the police want to have it both ways and they do.
