Reducing medical issues in minorities

MEMPHIS, Tenn. -- For many reasons, there are often larger health issues in minorities than the rest of the population.

The reasons can range from income to foods eaten or not seeking healthcare, even when it is free.

Dr. Marshall ChinĀ  is involved with the Alliance to Reduce Disparities in Diabetes, which is funded by the Merck Foundation.
