(Elyria, OH) A man in Ohio has been told he cannot father anymore children until he supports the ones he already has.

An appeals court upheld that order from a judge against Asim Taylor.

WJW-TV reported he was also given five years probation for owing $100,000 in child support to his four children.

“The defendant is ordered to make all reasonable efforts to avoid impregnating a woman during the community-controlled period or until such time the defendant can prove to this court that he is able to provide for his children that he already has,” said Judge James Walther of Lorain County.

Taylor appealed the judge’s order, saying that it infringed on his fundamental rights.

The decision this week by the 9th District Court of Appeals didn’t provide an opinion about whether the judge’s order was appropriate.

Instead the appeals court said it didn’t have enough information to decide the merits of the case without a copy of the pre-sentence report detailing Taylor’s background.

This is unconstitutional. So will all unemployed parents be forbidden to have more children as well? Or what about parents that are working but are still in way over their heads in debt? Or better yet, what about women that keep having babies by men like this? Should a law be passed to forbid them from having more kids as well. And let’s say this guy does have another child, what exactly is the judge going to do? Incarceration because of procreation? Last time I checked we live in America…not China.

I can not believe any woman would have any thing to do with a man that does not support his children. This man is probably living with a woman in order for him to have a roof on his head. In my opinion social services should be for the elderly, the disabled and those who have lost their job and their unemployment benefits have ended. Social services is suppose to be short term. Some people get section 8 housing also. One of my neighbors own a house and she rents it to people on section 8. She was bragging to me about how the government was paying the rent and the utilities. She is from the country of Lebanon, so she only rent to Muslims. One of her tenants was running Arabic school with over 20 children. She only evicted him when the neighbors got law enforcement involved. Before someone assumes that I am a racist white person, I am black. There are many different races that the government is taking care of their children. I think that the judge is right.

Been saying it for years. Some people just don’t need to reproduce. (Yes. I’m smart enough to know I’m one of those people. Too much drama.) Not saying accidents don’t happen, but come on, people. Birth control isn’t rocket science.

I agree with the judge, but something need to be done about the women that lay up in have multiple children and can’t provide for them. I say we need to be like China on this issue.

And what of all the women who have 1, 2 3, 4, 5, etc babies by different men and they don’t work and are on welfare? They are supporting their children either so they should be told the same thing!!!
