(WREG-TV) The Yoknapatawpha Arts Council is launching a new festival the first weekend in August.

The Fringe Festival will take place in Oxford.

There is no cost for artists to apply and the event provides a performance space and equipment.

The festival is looking for visual and performing artists, like painter Cindy Aune.

Cindy paints using only her fingers and paper towels.

She created a painting from start to finish on Live at 9. She shows us how she does it in the video above.

For more information about the festival, or to apply, visit oxfordfringefest.com.
