Mistrial In Accused Serial Rapist Trial

Quantez Person

(Memphis) A mistrial has been declared in the trial of an accused serial rapist.

Quantez Person, 37, was arrested in May 2012 accused with three rapes.

Person is accused of raping three women in his car in April, 2012.

In each case, the victims told police the rapes happened in Person’s convertible with Dallas Cowboy dice hanging from the mirror.

Person is charged with one count of aggravated rape and two counts of rape, along with aggravated robbery.

A new trial date will be set Friday.

    During Jury selection, most of the potential jurors with a sexual abuse history, were too emotional and therefore disqualified from selection. Most of the remaining jurors don’t understand abuse and/or they were too apathic about it. That’s why there is so many not quilty votes in these types of cases.
