Portland, OR– Former Blazer Zach Randolph scored 21 points and Marc Gasol added 20 but it was nowhere near enough as the Grizzlies lose in Portland, 105-98, falling to 9th in the Western Conference Playoff race with just 9 games to go.

The Blazers took control of this one in a 32-point second quarter to go up by 12 at halftime, a lead they’d push to 16 after 3.  LaMarcus Aldridge led all scorers with 28 with the Trailblazers putting five players in double figures, shooting 52% for the game.

The Grizzlies falling to 1-2 on this crucial season-long five game road trip.  They’re at Denver on Monday night before closing the trip in Minneapolis against the Timberwolves.
