Grizzlies Earn Big Win Over Clippers

Memphis, TN-The Grizzlies used their front court to subdue the Los Angeles Clippers on Friday night at FedEx Forum.

Zach Randolph and Marc Gasol posted double-doubles to lead Memphis to a 102-96 victory.

Randolph had 21 points and 11 rebounds, Gasol scored 17 points to go with ten rebounds.

James Johnson, who has his son’s name tattooed around his neck, added 15 points off the bench.  The Grizzlies honored Johnson by giving away sticker neck tattoos with the word Grizzlies on them.

Tony Allen scored nine points in his return from a wrist injury that had sidelined him for 21 games.  The Grizzlies are now 31-23 and still one game behind Dallas for the final playoff spot in the Western Conference.
