These days, kids have all sorts of technology right at their fingertips, to keep them entertained.  But today we're taking it back to the basics to something their grandparents or maybe great-grandparents used to do.  Amie Plumey and Andria Lisle have just released their new book "Sewing School 2".

We thought we'd check back in with 5th grader, Kendall, to see how her project is coming along.  Kendall cut out triangles in holiday fabric, and then sewed them, to make a festive banner she can use to decorate her house this season.  This is one of a number of projects in the new book "Sewing School 2".  You can pick up the book, at a book signing at Memphis Brooks Museum of Art on December 8th!  It would make a great stocking stuffer for your child!
