Dallas, TX– Mike Conley scored 24 points, Marc Gasol had 23 and Zach Randolph chipped in 21 points and 14 rebounds…but the Grizzlies still lost to the Mavericks 111-99 to drop to 1-2 on the young season.

Dallas used a 13-zip run to jump out to a 16-point lead after the first quarter, pushing that lead to as many as 21 before the Grizzlies closed the first half on a 15-1 run, trimming the Mavericks lead to 49-43 at halftime.

Turnovers, again the story for the Grizz.

After turning it over 20 times in a win over the Pistons, the Grizzlies had 18 turnovers that led to 20 Dallas points.  The Mavericks, who got 24 from Dirk Nowitzki, also made 40 of 46 free throws in the win.
