(Memphis) A warrant has been issued for a self-proclaimed Memphis pastor.

Isaac Burnett did not show for a court date on July 29th.

Burnett was indicted on charges of Theft of property and passing bad checks after police say he wrote bad checks for cars and drove away with the vehicle.

Police say Burnett and a female companion wrote a $7,000 check for a 2008 Escalade in February of 2011.

The affidavit says they left the lot with the car.

The check was later returned for non-sufficient funds.

The same story occurred a second dealership.

Police say the checks came from an account belonging to the Prayer Power of Faith Learning Center.

Online, the center's address is on Brooks Road.

But there is another church in that building now.

Burnett seems to have disappeared.

He didn't show up for a July 29th court date.

The Collierville home is the address he gave police when they initially arrested him.

A representative from Bud Davis said they did eventually get their Escalade back after Burnett's arrest, but that was 2.5 years after it was taken and they say Burnett never paid a dime.
