(Gibson County, TN) A Gibson County woman has been arrested for lying about her son having cancer.

Jamie Decker, 35, of Medina is charged with one count of theft over $10,000.

Decker reportedly has made statements, “that since 2008 she has been making up the story that her son suffered from cancer to raise money for her family.”

The Tennessee Bureau of Investigations believes at least $10,000 in donations were made to the family.

Chance Houlihan, 11, is no longer in his mother’s custody.

According to the TBI, “Doctors who treated Houlihan determined that he does not have cancer, but suffers from care giver abuse at the hands of his mother.”

As for Jamie and her sick evil mind, she so much deserves to have her child taken from her, I don’t wish cancer on anyone, she will answer for this!!

This story really sickens me. I hope the mother never sees her son again. that would be the best thing that could ever happen to him. There is no telling what this women done to her child. I pray for the well being of Chance. As for the so called mother she should suffer 10 times more than her child has.
