Kids Arrested For Crashing City Vehicles

(Jackson, TN) Three boys, 13, 10 and a 7-year-old were arrested in Jackson, TN and charged with multiple counts of auto burglary and felony vandalism to property.

This happened at the City of Jackson garage.

Police say the boys climbed a fence then entered eight different city vehicles which still had keys inside them.

Investigators say the boys drove the trucks around the property, “causing several collisions and a minimum of $200,000 worth of damage.”

All three are charged with eight counts of auto burglary, vandalism over
$60,000 and trespassing.

The two youngest were given juvenile citations and released to their parents.

The 13-year-old boy was taken to the Madison County Juvenile Center.
