(Fort Worth, TX) It’s unclear how many lives were saved inside a Forth Worth McDonald’s restaurant when a man’s gun jammed repeatedly when he pointed it at people but fired fine when he fired it outside.

Surveillance video shows Jestin Anthony Joseph, 24, pulling the trigger several times while attempting to rob customers and employees.

The gun jammed every time until he walked outside and fired it into the air with no issue.

The man then walked back into the restaurant, pointed it at someone and again it jammed til he walked outside and fired it with no problem.

Joseph’s mother told the Star-Telegram. “Last night I told God to keep Jestin, and that’s what I do believe happened. I did not know he even had a gun.”

Joseph told police he has been hearing voices in his head lately and thought he was being followed.
