(East Memphis) A brazen burglar who broke into an East Memphis home was captured by security cameras inside the house.

The homeowner installed cameras before he went on vacation and he left them up after he got home.

He's glad he did.

The cameras captured clear images of the man making his way around the home.

"You can see him pulling out the cables from the play station he was pulling it away from the wall," Webb said.

Webb was at work around 10: 30 Tuesday morning when pictures from his security system flooded his phone.

"The camera sends me still images when it captures motion or sound," he said.

He saw the pictures and called 911 to tell them someone was in his house.

The thief got away before police got there, but this camera captured a very clear shot of the man they're now looking for.

"He was kind enough to turn on the light for us so we were able to get a clear picture of him," he said.

Webb says the crook took off with a Play Station 3, his bike, and even some clothes.

"He definitely did take all of my pink shirts which I thought was odd," he said.

Now Webb's hoping someone will recognize the man who is in these photos and who left residents of Carolyn Lane on edge.

If you know who the man is, call Crimestoppers at 528-CASH.
