(Memphis) Friday's never-ending rainĀ forced the Memphis Botanic Garden to reschedule Friday night'sĀ "Live at the Garden" concert featuring Foreigner.

Jim Duncan, executive director of the Memphis Botanic Garden, said the famous rock band was more than willing make sure Memphis fans weren't disappointed.

"We were very fortunate in that Foreigner was willing to make a re-routing to where they could come back in here on Monday night and have a concert."

The nearly sold-out concert will start at 7:30 Monday night instead of the usual start time of 8:30 p.m.

Those who have already purchased tickets just need to show up with ticket in hand.

And while the Foreigner concert is a temporary washout, Friday's heavy rain was a blessing.

Jim Duncan said it's just what the 96 acre complex has been needing after a long dry spell.

"The rain is a good thing because we haven't had any in quite some time. And of course our plants need water in order to thrive and to be beautiful for the public."
