(Memphis) Memphis police are hoping some surveillance video and pictures will help them catch a rape suspect who has been on the run for two months.

Investigators say the man seen walking into a convenience store raped a 19-year-old woman he was supposed to be taking on a date.

The victim says the man she knew only as "Dee" gave her a ride while she was walking on Winchester, and she agreed to go out with him.

She says while they were on that date on June 30 they stopped at the store and then he took her to a vacant apartment at the Bent Tree Apartments on Winchester where he raped her.

There are a number of vacant buildings inside the complex that are boarded up.

The suspect is described as being his 20's, 5'6'' tall and 160 pounds.

He has a scar below his left eye and burn marks on his left hand.

He was last seen driving a black, 2000 Ford Taurus.
