(Memphis) A Memphis man accused of murder has turned himself in to police. It’s not his first time being linked to a killing.

Police say Kelvin Townsel confessed to the murder of 44-year-old Timothy Nolan.

Nolan was gunned down in his car on August 16th on Ethel Street in Orange Mound.

The police report says Townsel parked a block away, walked up to Nolan’s car and fired shots.

This is the third person Townsel is accused of killing since 2001.

He was charged and sentenced to prison for voluntary manslaughter in 2001 and 2008.
