Dollywood Announces Major Expansion & Addition of Resort

(Pigeon Forge, TN) Today, Dolly Parton announced a $300 million expansion to her Dollywood theme park.

The expansion which will take ten years to complete includes a new resort called, DreamMore, as well as new rides and shows.

DreamMore will open in 2015 with 300 guest rooms and will feature a fishing pond and fire pits to toast marshmallows.

The resort will be built to have features that bring families together and encourage interaction.

More than 2,000 jobs are expected to be created by the new resort.

For the 2014 season, a new ride called Fire Chaser Express will debut. The coaster is the first dual launch roller coaster in the United States.

Instead of a large hill, the coaster shoots you out of the station like a bullet.

The ride is said to be thrilling but one elementary school age children can ride.

Dolly Parton also announced she will be touring in 2014.
