(Memphis) Two more suspects are now behind bars, charged with shooting an Oakhaven teenager to death earlier this month.

Eric Sims was arrested early Tuesday morning on first-degree murder and attempted first-degree murder charges.

The 27-year-old is being held without bond at the Shelby County Jail. He’s scheduled to appear in court Wednesday morning.

Another man, 22-year-old Jerome Jackson, is also charged with first-degree murder and attempted first-degree murder charges.

Police say Sims, Jackson and 26-year-old Jason Smith were involved in the deadly shooting of 17-year-old Montarius Pigrum in the 3900 block of Bertram Cove back on August 2nd.

Police say Pigrum and six other victims were walking when they were confronted, chased and shot by the suspects.

According to a police affidavit, Sims confessed to police that he was the one who fired the fatal shot that killed Pigrum.
