Police Director Says No Precincts Will Close This Year

(Memphis) Police Director Toney Armstrong said at tonight's town hall meeting that no precincts will close this year.

Before Armstrong spoke, Mayor AC Wharton told the crowd that the closure rumor wasn't true.

Chairman Edmund Ford proposed 50 layoffs to help with the police director's budget cuts.
