Grizzlies Lose Summer League Opener

Las Vegas, NV– Summer league play got off to an ugly start for the Grizzlies as they shot just 35% and committed 20 turnovers in an 81-67 loss to the Chicago Bulls in their opener of the Las Vegas Summer League.

Second-year pro Tony Wroten led the Grizz with 17 points while newcomer Matt Howard had a double-double of 11 points and 11 rebounds but the Grizzlies were just 3-of-19 from behind the 3-point line.
