(Memphis) Two people were taken to the hospital after a Blues City Tours bus crashed into a downtown business.

Police say the tour bus was taking tourists through the South Main district when it collided with a Jeep. The bus skidded off the road and straight into the Chapman Furniture store.

“I saw the Blues City Tours bus coming from this way,” Adam Deek said.

Deek saw the whole thing happen from the window of Frank's Deli. He said the rain was falling hard when the bus collided with the Jeep.

“It was heavy raining at this time. So the bus driver, she tried to move away from the Jeep and unfortunately she hit the wall right here,” he said.

Police said two people were taken to the hospital, but are expected to be OK.

After about an hour of making sure the building was structurally sound, the bus was delicately towed out of the wall, leaving a large hole and a mess in this historic South Main building.

Our calls to Blues City Tour Bus were not returned. At the time of this report, police had not released who was at fault for the accident.
