(Memphis) The Cook Convention Center in downtown Memphis was evacuated early Monday because of a transformer fire.

There have been no reports of any injuries.

Smoke from the fire was reportedly inside the facility.

In a separate incident last week, an underground transformer fire forced the evacuation of the Exchange Building Apartments on Second St. a few blocks south of the convention center.

No one was injured in that incident either.
