Boston Bombing Suspect Charged With Using Weapon of Mass Destruction

A federal grand jury has returned a 30-count indictment against accused Boston bomber Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, Justice Department officials confirmed to CBS News Thursday.

The U.S. attorney’s office for Massachusetts announced on its Twitter feed that the charges include using a weapon of mass destruction.

The U.S. attorney’s office also announced that a press conference would be held at 3 p.m.
