There’s a new trend when it comes to checkout policies in some hotels.

Some are encouraging weekend guests to take advantage of late check-outs on Sundays.

A few hotels are altering check-out times all together so a guest can stay a full 24 hours at no extra fee, they would just have to book it in advance.

5 p.m. is about the latest a visitor can stay without cost.

Sunday nights tend to be the slowest for hotels so there isn’t as much pressure for housekeepers to get the rooms ready for the next guest.
