(Arkansas) A preliminary injunction that would block an Arkansas state law that bans abortions after the 12-week mark of a pregnancy has been ordered by a federal judge.

The measure was supposed to go into effect in August.

Arkansas’ legislature passed the measure and then overrode the governor’s veto in March.
