Delta Blues Museum Receives National Honor

(Washington, D.C.) The Delta Blues Museum is singing a new song after receiving a major honor from the White House.

First Lady Michelle Obama presented officials from the Clarksdale, Mississippi museum with this year’s National Medal during a ceremony at the White House Wednesday.

The award is the highest honor a museum can receive for its community service efforts.

The Delta Blues Museum is one of ten museums selected for the award.
