(Memphis) The brother of a 15-year-old who was shot and killed Monday, April 29th is now charged in the murder.

Corderius Webb was shot and killed in the 2700 block of Spottswood.

Police say Webb was throwing bricks at a group of people, when his brother began shooting at the same group.

Police say the bullets struck and killed Webb.

Webb’s older brother, 18-year-old Dewayne Mckissack is now charged in the murder.

“They told me they were just bringing him down here for questioning. All of the sudden now he’s locked up,” said the boy’s mother Bernestine Webb.

Mckissack is being held on a $500,000 bond.

He is charged with second degree murder, attempted second degree murder and three counts of aggravated assault.

Witnesses said the shooting was the result of an ongoing feud between Webb’s family and another neighborhood family.

Witnesses first claimed a woman from the other family shot Corderius.

She was questioned by police but not charged.

Webb said outside of court Monday she felt like she had lost a second son, “They are saying it’s an accident, so why in the hell is he being locked up."
