102 Bottles of Nail Polish Stolen

(Middletown, Conn) A Middletown, Conn. man has been arrested for stealing 102 bottles of nail polish from a CVS on April 18, The Middletown Press reports.

According to the police report, 42-year-old Marco Gonzalez walked into CVS, “and started selecting and concealing Essie and Sally Hansen brand nail polishes into his sweatshirt.”

Gonzalez tried stuffing $865.98, before tax, worth of Essie and Sally Hansen brand nail polish in his sweatshirt. A loss prevention officer at CVS noticed the activity and called police. When the responding officer approached Gonzalez, he admitted he did not plan on paying for the nail polish.

Gonzalez has been charged with fifth-degree larceny.
