Memphis, Tennessee – The Memphis Grizzlies waived center Dexter Pittman, the team announced today.

Pittman (6-11, 285) totaled two points and five rebounds in 20 minutes in seven appearances with Memphis, who acquired the 25-year-old and a 2013 second round draft pick from the Miami Heat in exchange for the draft rights to Ricky Sanchez on Feb. 21.

The three-year veteran holds career averages of 2.4 points and 1.8 rebounds on .454 shooting in 7.2 minutes in 48 games (six starts) with Miami and Memphis.
