Grizzlies finally win in Houston

Houston, TX-Grizzlies center Marc Gasol had a double-double with 15 points and 12 rebounds to lead Memphis to an 82-78 victory over the Rockets on Friday night. The win snapped a 13-game losing streak for the Grizzlies in the city of Houston, a streak that dated back to 2006.

Zach Randolph also had 15 points for the Grizzlies, who got 13 from Jerryd Bayless of the bench. Rockets guard James Harden had a game-high 30 points, but missed a potential game-tying jumper from the top of the key in the final seconds.

Memphis has won seven of eight games and holds a one-game lead over the L.A. Clippers for homecourt advantage in the first round of the playoffs. The Grizzlies host the Clippers on Saturday night.
