Shooting At West Memphis High School Leaves One Injured

(West Memphis, AR) One teen is charged and another is sought by West Memphis Police after a shooting outside West Memphis High School.

It happened around 8:00p.m. Saturday night during a Black History Month program inside the center.

Witnesses near the school say they heard 3-4 gunshots before seeing a crowd leave the auditorium area.

Quincy Sanders, who is 19 years old was struck one time in the lower leg and taken to Crittenden Regional Hospital.

West Memphis Police have issued warrants for the alleged shooter ,a juvenile for Battery 1st Degree and Possession of a Handgun on School Property. 

A second male, Joshua Joyce who is 19, has been arrested and charged with Possession of a Handgun on School Property.

Joyce is currently being held at the Crittenden County Detention Center on a $175,000.00 bond.
