Dyersburg Police Officer’s Dog Shot

(Dyersburg) Investigators in Dyer County are looking into an incident where a Dyersburg police officer’s dog was shot and his house was reportedly vandalized.

It happened earlier this month in the 2400 block of Hamer road.

Police have questioned neighbors but there’s no new information.

Investigators say the vandalism and the dog being shot may not be connected but there is a reward for information in either case.
