Tigers move up in both polls this week

Memphis, TN-The Memphis Tigers keep on winning and keep on moving up in the national rankings. With double digit wins over Central Florida and Marshall last week the Tigers stretched their win streak to 16 games. That’s the second longest streak in the nation behind Akron. The victories also improved the Tigers to 22-3. In this week’s Associated Press Top 25, the Tigers moved up one spot to 21st. In the coaches poll, the Tigers leaped six spots to number 19 in the nation. The Tigers play a pair of home games this week at FedExForum. They host Houston on Wednesday night and Southern Miss on Saturday afternoon.
